About AlsOnline

Excellence is etched in the memory of contemporaries; perhaps, few descending generations audit the folklore of extraordinary personalities but for greatness to achieve eternity the minutiae of their greatness requires inscribing and preserving. It is for this reason the greatest intellectual of 20th century India, Nani Ardeshir Palkhivala sought the permission of his mentor Jamsetji Kanga to have him as his co-author in the monumental work Law and Practise of Income Tax. Today, after 57 years of its first publication it is still an ode to the genius of Kanga and Palkhivala and will stand for generations to come.

We, students of Amity Law School, Delhi, with equal equanimity and fondness wish to express our gratitude and indebtedness towards this institution. And we do not want our gratitude to be lost down the generations. Therefore, AlsOnline through its three divisions Amity Law School Seminars, Amity Law Web Journal (ALWJ) and Amity Law & Society Review (ALSR) seeks to develop a forum to express and record legal issues, news, analysis and opinions.
